What this policy covers.
We use AI tools to deliver better, faster outcomes for clients. We use them carefully — with privacy, security, and compliance in mind from the start.
- Approved AI vendor list: Only enterprise- and paid-tier AI tools from vetted vendors are approved for client work.
- Prohibited free-tier tools: Free-tier or consumer-grade AI services are prohibited for any client data processing.
- AI transcript retention: Meeting transcripts captured by AI notetakers are retained for a maximum of 18 months, then purged.
- BIPA / Illinois voiceprint carveout: We do not capture biometric voiceprints or comparable identifiers for clients with Illinois operations or for any client without explicit written opt-in.
- Opt-out at any time: Clients may opt out of AI notetaker tools at the start of or during any call.
- Reporting concerns: Questions or concerns about AI use should go to legal@breakthroughadvancement.com.
